More about contacting us
The surgery offers appointments until 8pm on Monday evenings (dependant on demand).
If you are too unwell to attend surgery, please call the surgery on 01451 830625 before 10am giving details of your problem so that the doctor can assess the urgency of the visit.
The surgery has free parking directly to the front of the building. Spaces are not marked out (due to the size) but there is usually ample space for parking for patients with mobility problems.
There is a ramp to the left hand side of the building leading to a side entrance which may be more accessible to patients in wheelchairs or buggies. If access is a problem please ring the bell by the front door and someone will come out to assist.
Most consulting and clinical rooms are on the ground floor and are readily accessible by wheelchair. There are, however, two consulting rooms upstairs (there is no lift). If you have difficulty using stairs, please make us aware of this when you book an appointment.

Interpreters and communication support
If you need an interpreter, including a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter, tell us when you book your appointment. We will arrange an interpreter where we can; you will not be charged.
You do not need to bring your own interpreter.
If you have a disability, impairment or sensory loss and need information in a way you can understand, or support to communicate with us, tell us.
We will record what you need and take steps to meet it.
When we are closed
If you need urgent help for your physical or mental health when we are closed, and you cannot wait until we open, use 111 online or call 111. They will tell you what to do next.
111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
If it is a serious or life-threatening emergency, call 999 or go straight to A&E.
If we do not provide out-of-hours services ourselves, NHS England is responsible for commissioning them.
Seeing a particular GP, nurse or other professional
You have the right to say which GP, nurse or other health professional you would like to see, for your care in general or for a particular condition. We will try to meet any reasonable request, but you may need to wait longer for that person to be available.
Tell us who you would like to see when you contact us.
Your rights and responsibilities
We should treat everyone fairly, kindly and respectfully. You should also treat our staff with respect.
- Arrive on time. If you are late for an appointment, or miss a phone call we arranged, it can affect other patients and delay care.
- If you cannot come to your appointment, tell us as soon as you can, so we can offer it to someone else.
You and your general practice on the NHS England website explains what you can expect from us.
Violence and abuse
We can remove a patient from our list if they are violent or abusive to our staff.
If someone is violent, or behaves in a way that makes our staff or anyone else at the practice fear for their safety, and we report it to the police, we can ask NHS England to remove them from our list straight away. NHS England will write to tell them they have been removed.
